Organisations American Pomeroy Historical & Genealogical Association (APHGA) atwww.americanpomeroys.org The APHGA is our US-based partner. Privately funded, its goal is to verify and update the family trees published in a three-volume book by A. A. Pomeroy in the early 1900s detailing the family tree of Eltweed Pomeroy, an immigrant from Dorset in England in the early 1630s. The APHGA has transcribed all of the currently available American censuses and is working with the PFA to account for all the emigrants from the British Isles whom we know, or suspect, emigrated to North America during the past four centuries. In addition to its website, the
APHGA also maintains a blog at www.americanpomeroys.blogspot.com and a members-only area at MyFamily.com available to those who wish to share their Pomeroy information in a secure,
password protected environment.
